Kesem is a national organization dedicated to supporting children and families facing a parent’s cancer. We provide fun, joy-filled programs that ensure no child faces their parent’s cancer alone, and fill a critical need in the cancer care community. We have staff dedicated to bringing partnerships with community organizations, healthcare institutions, and our nonprofit peers to life, all so kids and families are supported, and have a community that gets it, without having to explain.
We have over 25 years of experience in delivering programming that works to over 100,000 children. A 2026 Georgetown University study demonstrated Kesem programs led to measurable improvements in children’s well-being.

Kesem Together day programs happen in the community all year-round, bringing in-person fun and connection to children facing a parent’s cancer. As partners, we'll create engaging activities tailored to each location and group of kids, all designed to bring joy and connection.
Looking to be part of an award-winning campaign that brings awareness to our shared mission? Every January, Kesem and our partners recognize this month with Joy Out Loud—a movement to unleash the joy that every kid deserves, connecting kids impacted by a parent’s cancer with the resources, support, and community that helps them live their joy out loud.
Build relationships and reciprocity with Kesem and our shared audiences through tabling at events, collaborating on webinars for families affected by a parent’s cancer, and expanding a community of support and compassion.

All referrals submitted through the form must have consented to you providing Kesem with their information.
